P. O’Connor & Son is very pleased to announce the appointment of Katie Cadden as Senior Associate.
A Senior Associate in the firm’s Commercial Department, Katie advises and acts in matters of commercial and corporate law, including commercial property matters. Katie also specialises in Charity Law and Not-for-Profit practice, advising on the full range of corporate, restructuring and compliance matters encountered by members of the charity and not-for-profit sectors.
Katie is an experienced, independent non-executive director who has served on boards in the public, private and financial services sectors. A former member of the Charities Regulator, she continues to serve as an external member of the Charity Regulator’s Regulatory Committee. A committed volunteer, Katie is a member of the RNLI Council and RNLI Irish Regional Council of the RNLI – the charity that saves lives in the water.
Katie is a practising mediator, with a particular interest in dispute and conflict resolution in the boardroom and professional spheres. Katie is MII accredited in Ireland.
Katie regularly speaks on matters of governance and is a lecturer in Charity Law and Regulation at the Diploma Centre in Law Society of Ireland since 2014.
A French speaker, Katie completed her Dipôme d’Etudes Juridiques Francaises at the Université de Poitiers in France and worked for the In-House Counsel of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton in Paris.
